Day 9

Our route today was from Camp Verde to Payson AZ up out of the valley from Camp Verde on a monster multi-hour climb and then through the beautiful forests of the Coconino National Forest northeast of Phoenix.  About 60 miles, 5,700 ft of climbing.  Big climbing day!   The average temperature for the ride was 90F with a max of 108F!
