Day 8

Our route today was from Cottonwood to Camp Verde AZ passing through the mining town of Jerome, over the Woodchute Mountain range and by Prescott Valley before going up I-17 into Camp Verde.  About 64 miles, 4,700 ft of climbing.   The average temperature for the ride was 94F with a max of 106F!   We saw a small herd of Antelope coming down off the mountain.
